FreelanceCrew is a scheduling platform for the events industry. It connects planners (clients such as stand builders, stage builders and event agencies) with independent freelancers, and handles availability, bookings, briefings, check-in, time tracking and timesheets in one place.

For two groups: planners who need to find and schedule crew for stand building, stage construction and events, and freelancers who work in that sector and want to manage their calendar, jobs and hours. A planner can also appoint a team leader on a project to check attendance.

You try FreelanceCrew free for 21 days, no credit card required. After that freelancers pay €34.99 per month or €356.90 per year. Freelancers with their own projects who sometimes need crew themselves take Freelancer Plus: €59.99 per month or €611.90 per year, with no setup fee. Next to your freelancer profile you get a planner profile with up to 10 connections (freelancers, payroll crew, office staff and planners combined), and you switch between them in one click. Freelancers who were signed up by a planner use the app for free as long as they are in that planner's pool and the planner has an active subscription. The ERP (quotes, orders and invoices) is included for planners and for freelancers with their own subscription; for signed-up freelancers it is a paid add-on of €17.99 per month or €183.50 per year, with a 30-day free trial. For planners the price depends on the number of freelancers in their pool: €149 per month for up to 49 freelancers, €259 for 50 to 99, €339 for 100 to 149, €499 for 150 to 249 and a custom plan from 250 freelancers. Anyone who pays yearly gets a 15% discount. Planners pay a one-time onboarding fee of €595 (€297.50 with a yearly plan) on their first invoice. Every plan includes Peppol documents per month, sent and received combined: 200 to 750 for planners and 40 for freelancers; each extra document costs €0.35. Permanent crew is included without limit in every plan. All prices exclude VAT.

Create a project, see which freelancers are available on your dates and send a booking request. You can send one request to several freelancers at once. As soon as a freelancer confirms, they appear in your schedule.

Freelancers check in on site with a single tap on their smartphone, so the planner immediately sees who is present. After the shift they log their hours; the planner validates them and receives the timesheet digitally, grouped per project.

Yes. Every business is verified at registration: Belgian companies through the public CBE (KBO) register, companies from other countries by an administrator. Freelancers also list their expertise, experience and certificates such as VCA on their profile.

FreelanceCrew runs in the browser on smartphone, tablet and computer and can be added to your home screen as an app. The platform is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

Yes. FreelanceCrew is connected to Peppol, the European network for e-invoices. If your company has a Belgian company number and is registered on Peppol, you receive the invoice for your subscription as an e-invoice, directly in your accounting software. You don't need to set anything up. If your company uses a different Peppol ID, enter it in your settings.
